Family & Friends FAQs
KidZania is a child-sized city for kids where they can choose from a number of immersive role play activities. It features replicas of the most representative aspects of a real city and it even has its own currency: kidZos. Take a look at How it works.
Kids earn kidZos, the official currency of KidZania, with every job they perform. Recognised at every KidZania city throughout the world, kidZos are used to buy products and services in KidZania. The more kids work, the more they earn, and the more they can experience. Find out more.
KidZania London is designed for children aged 4 – 14. The majority of the activities require and teach a variety of skills associated with this age range. We do have an Early Years area for children under 4. All guests will need a valid ticket to enter.
Adults and parents are welcome to watch their children are taking part in activities from outside the establishment (through viewing windows etc), or they can take time out in our dedicated Grown-Ups Garden Shed where you'll find soft seating and peace and quiet.
In certain establishments parents are invited to play a part - they can be passengers on the plane in our Aviation Academy or be part of the audience in the theatre. Find out more.
N.B. We cannot admit adults without an accompanying child and all must purchase an adult ticket.
Remember, those with children aged 8 or over also have the option to allow their children to explore KidZania without them, dropping their children at check-in and returning to collect after their 4-hour experience.
Or how about visiting on one of our Family Sundays where grown-ups are able to join in a selection of activities with their children? Alternatively, visit during an Adult Night, reserved for over 18s, when grown-ups can relive their childhood by experiencing KidZania without children.
On Sundays at KidZania London, grown-ups can join in a selection of our most popular activities with their children (N.B. on all other days of the week, children-only are able to participate in the role-play activities). We call them Family Sundays. Please visit our Family Sundays page to learn more.
Family Sundays between 18th June and 16th July 2023: We are trialling a new idea at KidZania London where we'll open 10am-5pm and you're welcome to stay all day (N.B. on all other days 4-hour time slots are allocated). On these special Family Sunday dates, you can arrive at any time during the day (within 1 hour of closing) and can take your time staying as long as you like.

Children from the age of 8 years can be left on their own at KidZania. The reasoning behind this is that 8 years is the start of Key Stage 2 and therefore seen by many as the next stage of a child’s development. This is provided on the basis that the accompanying adult/s are confident that their child will conduct her/himself in a responsible, courteous and pleasant manner. If your child is under 8 years they must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
Please see our Activities page for the list of all activities available for 4 to 14 years old. For children under 4 please refer to Early Years activities.
Most activities last between 15 to 30 minutes, we anticipate a child being able to participate between 4-6 activities during your 4-hour session.
At KidZania we offer a variable programme that can change on a seasonal basis.
When arriving at KidZania you will be greeted by a KidZania employee and check in at the Airport to then go through to the City. Each child will register individually and receive an RFID bracelet to ensure that children remain safely within KidZania. Parents or supervising adults will also receive a security bracelet. For more information please visit our Security Page.
All food for guests without any dietary requirements can only be purchased on site. Guests with allergies and special dietary requirements are allowed to bring external food into the city. To do this, you will need to make the team at Admissions (airport check-in) aware so they can provide you with an allergy wristband with the special requirements stated e.g. Gluten Free. For more information about the food available in KidZania click here.
We have a number of places available within the city for you to purchase food, drinks and snacks. Find out more here.
We have lockers and buggy storage available to hire. Please see our Services page for more information.
You can take your pushchair or buggy around the City with you however if you wish to store your buggy/pushchair in our buggies and lockers area you can do for a fee of £3. Please ask a KidZania employee on arrival where this is.
Lost property will be handed in to our Lockers & Buggy Room, and will be kept for 4 weeks after being found.
