Family & Friends FAQs
KidZania is a child-sized city for kids with buildings, streets, shops and transport where they can choose from a number of exciting real life activities. It features replicas of the most representative aspects of a real city and it even has its own currency: kidZos. Take a look at How it works.
Kids earn kidZos, the official currency of KidZania, with every job they perform. Recognised at every KidZania city throughout the world, kidZos are used to buy products and services in KidZania. The more kids work, the more they earn, and the more they can experience. Find out more.
KidZania London is designed for children aged 4 – 14. Majority of the activities require and teach a variety of skills associated with this age range. We do offer a small selection of activities for early years (up to four years of age).
Adults and parents are welcome to observe the activities their children are taking part in, or they can spend their time in the Grown-Ups Garden Shed.
In certain establishments parents play a big role; they can be passengers on the plane, tourists on the Golden Tour bus, spectate at the stadium or be part of the audience at the theatre. Find out more.
Please note, adults are not allowed into KidZania without accompanying kids and must purchase an adult ticket.

Your visit to KidZania will last for 4 hours.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your slot to allow enough time to check in at our Airport and receive all relevant information. Your 4-hour experience will start from the moment you have your security bracelet registered at check-in.
If you have missed your time slot then please speak to a KidZania employee on site and we will try our very best to find another time slot for you.
Children from the age of 8 years can be left on their own at KidZania. The reasoning behind this is that 8 years is the start of Key Stage 2 and therefore seen by many as the next stage of a child’s development. This is provided on the basis that the accompanying adult/s are confident that their child will conduct her/himself in a responsible, courteous and pleasant manner. If your child is under 8 years they must be accompanied by a full paying adult.
Most activities last between 15 to 30 minutes, we anticipate a child being able to participate between 4-6 activities during your 4-hour session.
At KidZania we offer a variable programme that can change on a seasonal basis, with over 60 activities available at one time.
When arriving at KidZania you will be greeted by a KidZania employee and check in at the Airport to then go through to the City. Each child will register individually and receive an RFID bracelet to ensure that children remain safely within KidZania. Parents or supervising adults will also receive a security bracelet. For more information please visit our Security Page.
All food for guests without any dietary requirements can only be purchased on site. Guests with allergies and special dietary requirements are allowed to bring external food into the city. To do this, you will need to make the team at Admissions (airport check-in) aware so they can provide you with an allergy wristband with the special requirements stated e.g. Gluten Free. For more information about the food available in KidZania click here.
We have a number of places available within the city for you to purchase food, drinks and snacks. Find out more here.
We have lockers and buggy storage available to hire. Please see our Extras page for more information.
You can take your pushchair or buggy around the City with you however if you wish to store your buggy/pushchair in our buggies and lockers area you can do for a fee of £3. Please ask a KidZania employee on arrival where this is.
Lost property will be handed in to our Lockers & Buggy Room, and will be kept for 4 weeks after being found. The Customer Services team will manage the process of reconciling items with visitors should they e-mail or call in. KidZania London cannot accept responsibility for items lost or stolen on KidZania London premises. Please see our Contact us page for more information.
There is no set dress code however due to the nature of both the climbing building and air conditioning activities, children are required to wear trousers to participate and refrain from wearing sandals or flip-flops. We recommend they wear comfortable clothing when visiting KidZania. Most activities also provide costumes or safety equipment to help them get in to their roles.
Our tickets are non-refundable; however we can alter the date and time of your tickets on request.
