Child Annual Pass Terms & Conditions

PURCHASE OF A KIDZANIA LONDON CHILD ANNUAL PASS IS SUBJECT TO ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CHILD ANNUAL PASS TERMS & CONDITIONS. 

1 INFORMATION ABOUT US

1.1 KidZania London is operated by Edutainment Operations Limited (“we”, “us” and “our”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 12299506 and have our registered office at: Westfield Shopping Centre, Ariel Way, London, United Kingdom, W12 7GF. Our main trading address for correspondence is KidZania London, Unit 5001, Service Yard B, Ariel Way, Westfield London W12 7GA. We are a limited company.

2. CHILD ANNUAL PASS TERMS & CONDITIONS

2.1 These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out all the terms and conditions upon which we agree to provide you (“you” and “your”) with an annual pass for a child to KidZania London (“Child Annual Pass”). 

2.2 Please read these Terms carefully before buying a child annual pass to KidZania London. By buying a Child Annual Pass, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

2.3 Important: a Child Annual Pass does not guarantee entry to KidZania London. Tickets to KidZania London will have to be booked on behalf of the Child Annual Pass holder online; please click  HERE.

2.3 In order to be issued with a Child Annual Pass, you will be required to provide the following information:

2.3.1 The first name and surname of the Child Annual Pass holder;

2.3.2 Their date of birth;

2.3.3 Their residential address;

2.3.4 The first name and surname of the parent/guardian of the Child Annual Pass holder (“Parent/Guardian”);

2.3.5 The telephone number of the Parent/Guardian; and

2.3.6 The email address of the Parent/Guardian.

2.4 A photograph of the Child Annual Pass holder will be taken at KidZania London when the Child Annual Pass is collected by the Child Annual Pass holder.

2.5 Child Annual Passes are only available for children aged between 4 and 14 (included).

2.6 Child Annual Passes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, void if altered and non-refundable.

2.7 The price of a Child Annual Pass includes:

2.7.1 admission of the holder to KidZania London and all activities inside for a period of 12 months from the date of issue (“Validity Period”), subject to the operating calendar of KidZania London and any applicable exclusion dates. Child Annual Pass holders can use their Child Annual Pass up to and including the “valid until” date which is printed on the Child Annual Pass when issued;

2.7.2 a 10% discount on the price of the birthday party of the Child Annual Pass holder held at KidZania London (Excludes mini birthday package and add-ons)

2.7.3 15% off on the price of any merchandise bought by the Child Annual Pass Holder at the shop located at KidZania London’s airport;

2.7.4 5% off on the price of any food and beverage sold at KidZania London to the Annual Pass Holder and to the users of Free Tickets (as defined in clause 2.7.6) 

2.7.5 five free tickets to KidZania London (“Free Tickets”) under the following provisions:

(a) One Free Ticket entitles one person aged 15 or over to entry to KidZania London on one occasion and is not valid for special events;

(b) The Free Tickets will be used during the Validity Period;

(c) The Free Tickets will be automatically used when tickets to KidZania London are booked on behalf of the Child Annual Pass holder for people aged 15 or over;

(d) More than one Free Ticket can be used at any one time;

(e) When all five Free Tickets have been used, additional tickets can be purchased on behalf of the Child Annual Pass Holder when their ticket is booked online or on the phone;

(f) The Child Annual Pass holder must be present on the day of use of the Free Tickets.

2.8 The price of our Child Annual Pass may vary from time to time.  It is as stated on our website www.kidzania.co.uk but is liable to change at any time.  The price of our Child Annual Pass is in UK Sterling and includes VAT.  When buying Child Annual Passes either via the website or by telephone, the total price will be confirmed.  We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors even after we have sent you the email confirmation although we will endeavour to do so as soon as we become aware of the error.

2.9 A Child Annual Pass will only be valid when it is used or presented by the named holder, it displays a photograph of the named holder and it is within the Validity Period. Only original Child Annual Passes will be accepted at KidZania London and KidZania London reserve the right to deny admission to any person trying to use a Child Annual Pass which is not an original, without offering any compensation. For the avoidance of doubt, pass sharing is not allowed.

2.10 Failure to present a valid Child Annual Pass (due to it having been stolen, lost or forgotten) will result in a charge of the admission rate applicable on the day, which will not be refundable.

2.11 All Child Annual Passes remain the property of KidZania London and can be withdrawn at any time. Child Annual Pass holders shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that their Child Annual Pass is kept secure and shall inform us at [email protected] if their Child Annual Pass is lost, stolen or damaged. A replacement Child Annual Pass will only be issued to the individual whose details have been provided in accordance with clause 2.3. An administration fee of £5 will be charged for the re-issue of each lost or damaged Child Annual Pass.

2.11.1 When renewing your annual pass, the start date of the new annual pass will commence on the expiry date of the previous annual pass. This is automatically activated when you buy the new annual pass.

2.11.2 When you buy an annual pass as a gift, the receiver of the gift can activate their pass by call our booking line 0330 131 3333 or walking up to guest services desk on the premises. Annual Pass gifts must be activated within 6 months of the purchase date.

2.12 A Child Annual Pass will be withdrawn without refund or compensation:

2.12.1 if the holder fails to comply with any of the KidZania London rules, for unsafe, illegal or offensive behaviour, or if we consider that the circumstances so require;

2.12.2 for the use or attempted use of a Child Annual Pass in breach of these Terms (in particular clause 2.9).

2.13 The purchaser of a Child Annual Pass must be 18 years old or over. If purchasing a Child Annual Pass on behalf of a minor, the purchaser shall:

2.13.1 confirm that they are acting as agent for and on behalf of the minor; and

2.13.2 accept these Terms on behalf of the minor and shall ensure that these Terms are notified to the minor.

3. OPENING DATES AND HOURS

3.1 Please check our website www.kidzania.co.uk for details of KidZania London’s normal opening dates and hours before any of your visit.

3.2 Opening dates and hours of all or part of KidZania London are subject to change without prior notice and for any reason. The full value or any part of the value of the Child Annual Pass will not be refunded nor will any compensation be payable in the event that opening dates or hours of all or part of KidZania London are changed.

3.3 Notwithstanding clause 3.2, if KidZania London change their opening dates or hours after the tickets and Free Tickets have been booked on behalf of the Child Annual Pass holder, and if as a result of the change, the Child Annual Pass holder and his guests using the Free Tickets are not able to visit KidZania London on the booked day, KidZania London will allocate new Free Tickets to the Child Annual Pass Holder. The allocation of new Free Tickets will be the sole compensation offered to the Child Annual Pass Holder.

4. CHILD ANNUAL PASS EXCLUSIONS

4.1 A Child Annual Pass does not entitle the holder to:

4.1.1 fast-track access to any of the establishments in the City (‘establishments’ being the specific areas within the KidZania city where children can take part in role play activities);

4.1.2 entry to KidZania London outside of its normal opening hours as published on its website;

4.1.3 entry to KidZania London on more than one occasion per day;

4.1.4 entry to any KidZania located outside of the United Kingdom;

4.1.5 any discount on private parties (except birthday parties), photography and video recording services;

4.1.6 pre-book for more than one four-hour session at KidZania London per day; or 4.1.7 have more than three active bookings at any one time.

4.2 A Child Annual Pass does not guarantee entry to KidZania London. Tickets to KidZania London must be booked on behalf of the Child Annual Pass holder online; please click HERE. The management of KidZania London reserves the right to refuse admission at any time and for any reason including, but not limited to, KidZania London being at full capacity.

4.3 Unless otherwise stated, a Child Annual Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

5. YOUR INFORMATION

5.1 We only use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy; please click HERE to read it. Please take the time to read these, as they include important terms which apply to you.

6. KIDZANIA LONDON ENTRY RULES

6.1 You will comply with the ticket entry terms and conditions (available to read HERE) every time you visit KidZania London.

6.2 For the purposes of entry to KidZania London, the following definitions apply:

6.2.1 an ‘infant’ is any child under one (1) year old;

6.2.2 an ‘early years child’ refers to any child aged one (1) and up to and including three (3) years old;

6.2.3 a ‘child’ is aged four (4) and up to and including fourteen (14) years old;

6.2.4 an ‘adult’ is any person aged 18 years or over;

For the avoidance of doubt, age means a person’s legal age (ie according to actual date of birth).

6.3 KidZania London operates a strict age policy. Entry to KidZania London is subject to the following age requirements:

6.3.1 Any infant or early years child entering KidZania London must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Infants and early years child are not permitted to enter any of the establishments other than “RightZKeepers Residence”, “The Science Lab”, the Supermarket and the Kindergarten.  Please note children aged four (4) and over are not permitted in “RightZKeepers Residence”, “The Science Lab” and the Kindergarten – the activities within these establishments are designed for infants and early years child;

6.3.2 Children aged 0-7(inclusive) must be accompanied by a full paying adult (18+) at all times. Children 8 and over can enter the city unaccompanied, but an adult must be present for the admission for all children into KidZania London;

6.3.3 All children must be accompanied by an adult when checking in at the airport to enter KidZania London regardless of whether that adult will be staying in KidZania London themselves. All adults leaving children (aged eight (8) to fourteen (14) inclusive) unaccompanied at KidZania London must provide contact details comprising at least two telephone numbers and an email address at check-in. 

6.3.4 Adults and any people aged 15, 16 or 17 must be accompanied by children in order to enter KidZania London. Generally, adults and people aged 15, 16 or 17 are not permitted to enter the establishments unless accompanying an infant or early years child into those establishments where babies and early years child are permitted. Certain establishments, including the TV studio and theatre, allow adults and people aged 15, 16 or 17 to enter to participate in the audience.  Adults who have accompanied children into Kidzania London are permitted to visit the public areas and parents’ area whilst their child is taking part in activities within the establishments.

7. OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

7.1 If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of the Terms or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our breach or if they were contemplated by you and us at the time we entered into this contract.

7.2 Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaching a contract between us is strictly limited to the purchase price of the Child Annual Pass you booked.

7.3 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

7.4 We are not responsible for indirect losses which occur as a side effect of the main loss or damage, or for any losses that fall into the following categories: loss of income or revenue, loss of business loss of profits or contracts, loss of data or waste of management or office time, loss of goodwill, disappointments or emotional distress and/or any other loss or damage which was not reasonably foreseeable by us at the date the Child Annual Pass was bought, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract otherwise, even if foreseeable.

7.5 In the event that you have purchased your Child Annual Pass as part of other services from a third party, that third party supplier’s individual liability will be set out in their own terms and conditions.  You may request from the supplier directly copies of any relevant terms and conditions.  For the avoidance of doubt, we do not accept liability for acts or omissions by you or any person(s) on behalf of whom you have placed a booking or unconnected third parties or suppliers of services which do not form part of the contract between you and us.

8. OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS

8.1 We have the right to revise and amend these Terms from time to time by notifying you or placing updated Terms on our website.  You may not vary these Terms unless agreed in writing with us.  You will be subject to the Terms in force at the time that you bought the Child Annual Pass to KidZania London (unless otherwise notified in writing). 

8.2 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, and we will always notify you in writing if this happens, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these Terms.

8.3 You may not transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another person. 

8.4 This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

8.5 Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

8.6 If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

8.7 If any of these Terms is determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8.8 These Terms and any document referred to in them constitutes the whole agreement between us and supersedes all previous discussions, correspondence, negotiations, previous arrangement, understanding or agreement between us relating to the subject matter of these Terms.

8.9 You acknowledge that, in agreeing to these Terms, you do not rely on any representation or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Terms.  Nothing in this paragraph excludes liability for fraud.  8.10 These Terms are governed by English law. You and we both agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
