Plastic Sucks! You Can Make A Difference workshops led by McFly's Dougie Poynter on Saturday 14th September 2019

Tying in with the launch of his new book Plastic Sucks! You Can Make A Difference, Dougie Poynter will be right here at KidZania London hosting exclusive one-off workshops from 11am - 12.30pm where kids learn to become Recycling Champions as a part of a Plastic Sucks! Degree launching at the University of KidZania

This degree will give kids the chance to explore their role and impact on the environment, correct methods of recycling, an introduction to the study of environmental science and how they can take action and make the world a better place.

KidZania's efforts to be green

As a business we make an effort to ensure that we are doing our best to stay environmentally friendly, and make much use of the resources with have available, with little waste. None of our waste (as supported by Westfields London) goes to landfill. Other initiatives employed by us to be more environmentally friendly include:

- Providing our staff with reusable water bottles, to fill up as they go, rather than using plastic

- Making sure our Kidzo money is reusable so that we don't keep reprinting it

- Using recycled/old materials to help recreate and build new activities and establishments - still seeking to be creative and adventurous with left-over items.
