We are pleased to announce that KidZania London will reopen on the 22nd May 2021 following the governmental announcement that the entertainment sector can resume operation from the 17th May 2021.

The health and safety of our staff and guests remains our top priority and we will therefore reopen with a range of safety measures in place to help you and your family enjoy a fun, but most importantly, safe day out.

We will continue to operate on reduced hours across fewer days in the week and strongly encourage booking online in advance of your visit to guarantee entry.

We continue to monitor governmental guidance on reopening and continue to adjust any necessary safety precautions where required.

Following the Government’s roadmap announcement and the news that the entertainment sector can start reopening from 17th May, KidZania London will be reopening on 22nd May 2021. We have a number of health and safety measures in place so please ensure you read these thoroughly before booking. The health and safety of our guests and staff remains our number one priority. Our decision to reopen on 22nd May 2021 is in line with current UK Government guidelines. We have put in place numerous safety measures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests and staff. Alongside this, we have been awarded the ‘We’re Good To Go’ charter mark by Visit Britain – an industry standard award signifying that we are ready to reopen and welcome you back to KidZania London safely.

We advise pre-booking tickets in advance to avoid disappointment as we have limited availability.

Yes. Every guest will be required to have their temperature taken on arrival to KidZania London using a contact free thermometer. Those displaying a temperature of 37.8 degrees or higher will not be admitted to the attraction. We therefore ask any guest who feels unwell or displays any symptoms of coronavirus not to visit the attraction.

Alongside the contact free temperature check, all guests will be required to verbally answer three questions before being permitted entry to the attraction. These questions will ascertain if you or any member of your household have been in contact with anyone or are themselves displaying symptoms of coronavirus before we permit them entry to the city. If any member of your household should fail to disclose the information requested or provide unsatisfactory answers to the questions, we will deny entry to that individual. 

As UK Government currently requires, we will need to hold and potentially share basic information about our visitors as part of contact tracing schemes including NHS Test Trace. This information will only be shared when necessary to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and support public health efforts. It also ensures the safety of all our guests and staff. For the time being, our kidZos will be contactless. Children will receive a bank card during check in with their 50 kidZos already loaded. Any kidZos spent or earnt throughout activities will be added or subtracted on this card. This card can also be used for purchases in the Department Store. We appreciate that if you have visited us previously your children may have kidZos that they would like to bring with them and spend in the city. In order to help us maintain a cashless city, we ask that on arrival into the city you head to the bank to add these to your pre-paid kidZo bank card. Our zupervisors will be instructed not to handle cash for the safety of our guests and staff. 

Yes, we intend to run as close to normal operation as possible. Please follow signage and instructions when in the city in order to observe social distancing measures. Hand sanitiser and regular hand washing will be encouraged throughout the city, as well as regular cleaning taking place of these areas. Please note that our drinking fountains will remain closed for the time being, so we advise that guests bring their own water or purchase from the food and beverage units. 

We would like to reassure all guests that we are taking the necessary measures to provide a safe, hygienic and fun environment for you to visit. However, we understand that due to unforeseen circumstances or if you have developed symptoms of the coronavirus or if its unsafe for you to travel you may require to change the date/time of your booking. We will be accepting debit/credit card payments only, to accommodate cashless initiatives throughout our city. Walk-ins are welcome subject to availability, so we advise pre-booking to avoid disappointment.

When we do open our doors on the 22nd May, social distancing measures will mean a smaller and safer capacity for our visitors. We will also be going cashless, request face coverings for all visitors and have hand sanitiser available throughout the city. In order to adhere to government guidelines and social distancing rules, we cannot accommodate for any children under 4 or newborns and apologise for any inconvenience. For further information on our health and safety measures, please click here.

We are asking that all guests wear a mask or face covering during their visit to KidZania London as a condition of entry, including all children aged 4+ years. Face coverings are not required to be worn by those with certain health conditions and/or disabilities. In addition, all staff will be required to wear masks throughout the city. Masks will be available for purchase on arrival to KidZania if you do not have one. Those who do not wish to wear a mask will be denied entry to the attraction.

Please check our activities page for further details. In order for us to comply with the government guidance on being COVID secure, some of our activities will be closed INCLUDING our Early Years Area. We will not be able to accommodate children aged 0-3 until further notice. 

We will be extending all Annual Passes automatically by the amount of days that you have been affected by the enforced government closure at the end of that period. KidZania London will email you directly once this has been completed. In order to be able to manage bookings effectively at this time, we ask that you do not contact unless you have any further issues or queries.

We will be extending Annual Pass free of charge and this will happen automatically. 

We will be able to offer a partial refund for the amount of days that you have been affected by the enforced government closure at the end of that period. Please contact where a member of our team will be able to assist with this refund.

If your gift voucher expired during the period whilst we were closed, please contact our reservations team at to redeem it and book in a new visit date.

Please check the cancellation/refund policies of these providers as we are not responsible for these bookings. Ahead of reopening, we will inform those customers with imminent bookings by contacting them directly. We will also post an announcement on our website and social channels, as well as email everyone signed up to our newsletters.
