COVID-19 Virus

Dear customers,

At KidZania London, the safety of our team and visitors has always been the top priority.

In order to reinforce this objective, we have been closely observing UK government advice of the global coronavirus situation (COVID-19) and the latest advice from Public Health England.

In addition to this and to continue our commitment to promote a culture of prevention, care and well-being, we want to share with you that KidZania London has decided to temporarily close its park at London Westfield from Tuesday March 17, 2020 until further notice, due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic.

Being a family entertainment center with a strong social commitment and a deep interest in children and the communities where we operate, KidZania has made this difficult decision as a proactive and preventative measure to avoid the possible spread of more cases of COVID-19 in London and the country as a whole. There have been no registered or reported cases of Coronavirus amongst staff.

Our administrative offices will continue to operate with the corresponding hygiene measures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Public Health England. Our normal communication channels will remain at your disposal for any questions, comments or clarifications.

We will continue to monitor the development of this constantly evolving situation in London, the wider country  and the rest of the world, and we will be very attentive to the instructions of the authorities, as well as Public Health England. In the meantime, you can visit our social media and website for the latest updates.

If your booking is affected by these measures you will be contacted directly by KidZania London.

Sincerely, KidZania London Team

Update 24th March 2020

Westfield London in Shepherds Bush has now made the decision to partially close until further notice.

At KidZania we are working closely with Westfield to make sure customers and staff remain safe and healthy. We pride ourselves on delivering the best experience for our visitors and, in the current time of uncertainty with Covid-19, we remain committed to doing just that.

Following the official advice of the World Health Organisation and Public Health England, as well as recent Government briefings, the Westfield centre in Shepherds Bush is now partially closed with the exception of pharmacy and food supermarket.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you informed on any changes to the re-opening of Westfield and KidZania London.

COVID-19 Virus: KidZania London Temporary Closure FAQ's

Following advice from the UK government and Public Health England, we are closed until further notice. Given the rapidly evolving nature of the situation surrounding COVD-19, we will continually review this in line with the latest advice and will post an update on a firm date for reopening once known. As always the health and wellbeing of our customers and staff is our number one priority and we look forward to welcoming you back as soon as possible.

We will of course honour the extension of an annual pass for the unenforced closure days. We will initially honour the two-week extension of all annual passes purchased before 17th March 2020 and valid until 31st March and later. We will continue to monitor the situation and review the potential extension.

You will be contacted directly as a priority by someone in the KidZania team. Alternatively,  please email with your booking reference number and a member of the team will be in contact within 5 working days.

As this is a rapidly evolving situation, we will continue to take advice from the UK government and Public Health England with regards to a firm reopening date. You will be contacted directly if your booking is affected by our closure or email with your booking reference number and a member of the team will be in contact as soon as possible.

Some travel and hospitality operators have separate provisions in place for cancellations. We recommend you contact them directly, as well as your insurance policy holders.

Ahead of reopening, we will inform those customers with imminent bookings by contacting them directly. We will also post an announcement on our website and social channels, as well as email everyone signed up to our newsletters.

We have increased our already stringent deep cleaning and disinfecting procedures and frequency, as well as adding more hand sanitising stations. In addition, non-contact temperature checks are enforced for staff upon arrival to work every morning. Latex protective gloves are available to our staff upon request.

Given the unpredictable nature of the current COVD-19 situation, this is unlikely to go ahead. We will closely monitor the situation for any changes and continue to keep our customers apprised.

The safety of our staff and customers is of prime importance. Although we have no registered cases of conronavirus amongst our staff, where possible they have been asked to self-isolate and adhere to social distancing guidelines as outlined by the UK government. We are in ongoing communication with our staff to keep them apprised of any changes or updates with regards to reopening.
