Join Parliament Week at KidZania, designed to teach kids all about the world of politics, debating and current issues! - On 14th-15th & 17th-18th November 2018!
We have teamed up with UK Parliament Week to host a series of exciting activities and workshops for our Parliament Week 2018! Empowering children to get involved with a number of special parliament-focused activities designed to educate children about the political system in the UK and careers available in the world of politics.
Activities to look forward to at KidZania's Parliament Week 2018:
► Become a political journalist with Shout Out UK - Wednesday 14th & Thursday 15th November - Location: The Clubhouse Shout Out UK is a multi-award winning independent youth news platform that provides young people with the tools necessary to engage in politics and a platform to shout out and be heard. Kids will learn all about reporting the latest political news and write up their own stories just like in a real newsroom!
► 'Learn To Debate' workshop with Usborne Books - Location: The Loft Kids can explore how to deliver a successful political debate using the 'Politics for Beginners' book from Usborne Books! Kids will gain an understanding of arguments for and against important topics and learn why and how we debate in a political environment. They can then use their skills in Debating Sessions in the Theatre!
► Exciting Debating Sessions - Wednesday 14th & Thursday 15th November - Location: KidZania Theatre Kids can join debates on the following motions... 1. This House would pay boys more kidZos than it would pay girls in KidZania London 2. This House believes freedom of speech is not always a good thing
► Get a Politics degree! - Location: University In the University, kids can broaden their knowledge of the UK political system with our brand new politics degree! Once they have completed their degree, kids will receive a certificate!
