Thursday 28th June 2018

Dr Dude joined us with an AWESOME Mad Science show in the Theatre! In this exciting show kids learnt all about air pressure, watching fun experiments with balloons, toilet paper, giant needles and lots more!

In the Stadium...
National charity Remap combined forces with Middlesex Cricket in the KidZania Stadium! Here kids took part in an activity exploring the engineerable solutions that need to be created to make a game of cricket accessible to all! Becoming engineers themselves, kids worked together to think up clever solutions to adapt a game of cricket, so that everyone can play!

Out in the city...
Abrams & Chronicle Books joined our STEM Fair with a pop-up stand celebrating ‘The Questioneers’ an Abrams Books for Young Readers series by Andrea Beaty and David Roberts! Kids visiting the stand enjoyed free goodie bags, activity kits and lots more to celebrate the book series!

In the Clubhouse...
STEM quizzes were underway in the Clubhouse with Usborne Books, where kids put their STEM knowledge to the ultimate test and may even have earned some extra kidZos as a result! (See photo for said kidZos...!)

Pilot Workshop...
Aviation Skills Partnership hosted a pilot workshop for kids across the 3 days of our STEM Fair! Here kids learnt all about becoming a pilot and what it takes mentally and physically to do the job!
