Kai KidZanians,
I wanted to speak to you all about what has been happening for the past few weeks.
All of the schools in the UK have closed down for a while, so have clubs, activities and KidZania.
All of you are stuck inside your homes. I am too. This is OK, it’s for our own good and it isn’t forever.
Staying away from people who we don’t live with is our way of helping the country to be as healthy as possible while we fight Coronavirus. It’s not easy, but it is important and if we all do it, it will work.
Our teachers have given us lots of work to do and there are some great websites where we can learn lots of things. Check out the images of me and my family completing the amazing KidZania activities!
Although we are indoors, there’s lots of things that we can do. I have been reading lots, playing with my brother, been on screens in my house and have been playing in my garden. I have also been helping around the house. I love to cook.
To keep active you could put on music and dance to it. My brother and I have been putting Just Dance videos on YouTube.
My advice is to wash your hands regularly and avoid touching your face. If you have any worries about Coronavirus, speak to a trusted adult.
I found a helpful video for children online, which you can access by searching: ‘Coronavirus Dr Xand and Dr Chris answer your questions’. You can also find it on the Newsround website.
See you soon, take care and stay safe.
